Happy Thanksgiving!

Needless to say, today is Thanksgiving! With that being said, everyone go out, spend time with family, eat until you can't eat anymore, and be thankful for everything you have! I couldn't be happier that there is a day just for giving thanks, but what people need to realize is they need to be thankful EVERY day! You never know when things could fall apart so give thanks every day of the year!
I hope you all have an amazing Thanksgiving! (and get ready for Black Friday!)

Lace Em Up

1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8

These boots are killer! - So edgy and fabulous! They're casual but not too casual. They are great all year round too, so it's definitely worth the money! Wear them in the winter with jeans or tights with a cute dress or with denim shorts in the summer! Steve Madden has some great ones - like 1, 3 & 4 - and right now the website is 25% off with free shipping when you use the code THANKFUL25. How perfect?

A Great InVESTment

1 | 2 | 3 | 4

I have to admit I love a good vest!  Options 1 and 2 are those popular J.Crew vests that you see all over Pinterest and just on everyone! Option 3 is just adorable and looks incredibly cozy! Option 4 is a bit more casual, but I wear it with a longsleeve tshirt to class and it keeps me toasty. Plus, it makes me look less sloppy - it's perfect for a college student! Patagonia also has some great casual vests if you're looking for more!
Comment with links to your favorite vests! I would love to check them out!

Deal or No Deal?

It's that time of year where Sephora blows up with package deals, and I must say I'm impressed! I absolutely love little sample sets because you get to try a few different things to see what you really love and want to spend your money on! And the best part is it's usually half the price!
Well I found some things that are actually mind blowing! The price you pay is ridiculously cheaper than its actual value so I thought I would share my findings - they're great to put on your Christmas List!

3. Marc Jacobs Lip Package

Oh Oh Oh My Lips So Luscious

Let me start off by saying if you didn't know the song that the title was named after, you disappoint me. Totally kidding!
In my last post I talked about savings versus splurges. Well, when it comes to makeup, I splurge... a lot!  My theory is that the more expensive it is, the better it is for my skin! Am I right?
I just wanted to share with you some of my favorites for not only this Winter, but all year round.  Classy, red lipstick will never go out of style - I'm convinced.  So on the right, you have some of my top picks for a beautiful, bold, red lip. And then, you know that berry color that is VERY "in" right now? Well, I think some of it is a tad too harsh so I went with some lip colors that still have that hint of berry, but it's not like "Oh my gosh, look how berry her lips are!" The NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil and the YVES SAINT LAURENT Rouge Volupte Shine are richer in color than the KORRES Greek Yoghurt Nourishing Lip Cooler and the FRESH Sugar Lip Treatment SPF 15. The second two are more of tinted lip treatments (aka perfect for every day to add a little "somethin somethin").

Notice the "Limited Edition" part in NARS Guy Bourdin Holiday Collection Limited Edition Cinematic Lipstick - Future Red. You might wanna snatch that up before it's gone - I know I need to!

I don't think I can ever have too much lipstick so if you lovely readers know of any beautiful colors to try out, comment below because I'm always looking for something new!

Dress To Impress

'Tis the season to get fancy. It's that time of year again where we're swamped with events - semiformal, formal, cotillion, homecoming, Christmas parties, etc. Now let's face it, ladies, we all know you're looking for that one dress to get every mans attention (or maybe just one in particular). You want that "Ooh La La" reaction and there's nothing wrong with that! Of course, we go shopping with high hopes of finding that perfect dress, and usually we go home disappointed (or at least I do).  We feel like we have the worst luck - find the perfect dress, too expensive or you can only find cheap dresses that you would never be caught dead in.  Most women think if the dress is cheap, it'll look cheap.  WRONG! I'm always a girl with a budget, and I feel like, for the most part, I rock my cheap things.  You just have to know how to do it right: be confident the entire night, accessorize it right, and forget the price! Don't get me wrong, I have definitely had my fair share of splurges - especially when it comes to makeup - but let's be real, how many times are you actually gonna wear it? So why spend hundreds of dollars on something for just one night? (Maybe that's just how I see it). There's nothing wrong with splurging though - if I could, I would! Some of us just aren't so lucky.
I decided to give you a few options that I love - both savings and a few minor splurges - but wear it right and no one will ever know the price!

But then there's my Free People list. I feel like FP is just so unique so go ahead and splurge!
